Load new firmware onto twenty tags without opening a single housing: the ICPROX-OTABRIDGE is the USB transmitter stick that carries firmware updates and initial setup over the air to ICPROX tags and other radino40 devices. The stick stays with the computer, the device stays where it is — on the keyring, in the charging cradle, inside a potted enclosure.
Everything is done in the browser (Chrome or Edge): choose the firmware package, enter the serial number of the target device, restart it briefly — done. The transfer is AES-256 encrypted and protected by two checksums; a complete image is on the air within seconds. An interrupted update is no drama: the device simply waits for the next attempt.
