The ICTRAC IO 1R-W IP65 is a UWB tag with a relay as its output. Through the terminal strip the relay can be configured freely as a volt-free contact, a high-side switch or a low-side switch.

ICTRAC mode: the module offers the same high-precision UWB positioning as the rest of the ICTRAC system. The response time of the relay is configurable in the system (polling). The relay output is driven by the customer’s ERP or directly from the ICTRAC system MQTT.

The ICTRAC IO 1R-W IP65 is used for

• occupancy indication for ActionZones
• control of warning lights in danger zones
• signalling inside forklifts
• control for automatic gates

Two-way ranging mode – a signal on approach: the module also works without an ICTRAC system. A DIP switch configures it either as a tag or as a station. In tag mode it answers stations within range. As a station, the DIP switch sets the distance and the minimum time after which the built-in relay is to pull in, and how long it stays in at least. Example: ON-OFF-OFF-OFF means the relay pulls in when a tag comes within 5 metres, and releases 3 seconds after the last tag has left that range.

Besides the relay, the ICTRAC IO 1R-W IP65 has two LEDs and a DIP switch for configuration. Brackets are available to make mounting straightforward.
