The ICflyConnect is a bidirectional RS-232 to Wi-Fi bridge. It forms the link between the ICfly bus and up to three Wi-Fi capable end devices.
The ICflyConnect sets up an encrypted Wi-Fi access point according to the IEEE802.11 b/g standard. It forwards the data of the ICfly bus via TCP into the Wi-Fi network and vice versa. Up to 3 TCP connections can be operated in parallel.
Together with a suitable app (e.g. Sky-Map), the data of an ICfly Motorbox 912 or of a traffic sensor can be displayed on the mobile device.
The ICflyConnect has two bidirectional RS232 interfaces whose baud rates can be configured individually.
The ICflyConnect can be used as a replacement for the discontinued AirConnect from AirAvionics. Configuration is done via an intuitive, web browser based configuration menu.
