The ICPROX Tag S makes its wearer visible to forklifts and AGVs, just like the larger version: vehicles equipped with ICPROX continuously measure the distance to every tag within range – accurate to about ten centimetres, through racking and walls, entirely without a camera.
The difference is the size. The Tag S is considerably smaller and flatter, and a wristband is available. Anyone wearing it all day hardly notices it – and that is what matters, because a tag that gets in the way stays in the drawer.
In return it lasts around 24 hours instead of several days. For shift operation with a charging cradle, that is the appropriate trade-off.
