The USB-UART-Bridge is used to easily connect circuits that only have a serial UART interface to a USB host. Existing microcontroller boards can be retrofitted. The module can also be used as a component in new circuits.

- Baud rates: 300 bit/sec to 2MBit/sec
- GPIOs 0-3 are set to push/pull on delivery (LEDs, TxEN and GPIO3 can thus be driven)
- Voltage regulator: max. 100mA at 3.45V
- LEDs: power LED, RX LED, TX LED
- I/O: RX (connect to RX of the controller), TX (connect to TX of the controller), Vcc, GND, USB connector (A-Type)

Three LEDs indicate the status of the module:
- 1x green for RX activity,
- 1x orange for TX activity and
- 1x red for USB voltage (PWR).
The module generates 3.45 volts from the USB bus voltage. This can be applied to the VDD pin of the module via a solder bridge (jumper). It can then supply up to 100mA at an output voltage of 3.45V (see CP2104 datasheet). Links & Downloads:
