The USB-B UART Bridge is used to easily connect circuits that only have a serial UART interface to a USB host. Existing microcontroller boards can be retrofitted. The module can also be used as a component in new circuits.
- Baud rates: 300 bit/sec to 1MBit/sec
- Voltage regulator: max. 100mA at 3.3V
- LEDs: RX LED, TX LED
- I/O: RX (connect to RX of the controller), TX (connect to TX of the controller), Vcc, GND, USB connector (B-Type)
- all handshake signals are routed to pin headers
The module generates 3.3 volts from the USB bus voltage. It can supply up to 80mA at an output voltage of 3.3V (see also CP2102 datasheet). Links & Downloads:
