The USB-A-UART-Bridge is used to easily connect circuits that only have a serial UART interface to a USB host. Existing microcontroller boards can be retrofitted. The module can also be used as a component in new circuits.

Three LEDs indicate the status of the module:
- 1x green for RX activity,
- 1x green for TX activity and
- 1x red for USB voltage (PWR).
The module generates 3.3 volts from the USB bus voltage. This can be applied to the VCC pin of the module via a solder bridge (jumper). It can then supply up to 100mA at an output voltage of 3.3V (see CP2102 datasheet). Links & Downloads:
